40% Milestone Check Tomorrow, 11/13!

Congratulations Intrepid Novelists! You now have the new tool of a Word War to help you through your novel. Many of you used this over the weekend to add to your word count.

REMINDERS:
By now, since you have been noveling in class and at home, you should be approaching your 40% milestone mark. 

HomeNoveling: 
1. Make it to your 40% milestone, or as close as possible!
2. Do at least 3-4 Word Wars at home. (See below for Word War reminders)

We will check in on word count on Wednesday, 11.13.13. If you are behind, you are expected to do several word wars a night at home, and make all your in-class noveling time count. You can do this if you follow those directions and DON'T GIVE UP!

Remember the power of the Word War! Set a timer for 11 minutes (or whatever time you like), and follow these two rules:

1. Silence is Golden (no talking!)
2. Keep Writing (Distraction-free time!

All of that will add up to getting into the "Writing Zone," and you will be amazed at how much you can get done. Try to do several Word Wars on your own, and see what that can do for your novel.
